Hitachi now offers a range of highly reliable, low noise and compact electric motors. Hitachi has wide experience in both 50HZ and 60HZ, voltages rated up to 13.8KV and output rated up to 25,000HP. Electro-magnetic design, structural design, and vibration response is carried out using CAD & CAE.

In Australia, Hitachi has supplied over 1000 MV and HV motors (more than 700MW of combined capacity) since the 1960's. Applications include mining, thermal power generation and water transportation.
