The H-25 Gas Turbine is suitable for simple cycle and Combined Cycle applications.

  • Simple Cycle performance of 27.5MW (ISO).
  • Combined Cycle performance (2025) of 81MW (ISO) and 50% thermal efficiency.

Cogeneration

Due to the H-25's high exhaust gas temperature the H-25 is the number one choice for cogeneration applications for the 25MW GTG range. The H-25 is capable of producing 50-60t/h of steam in an unfired HRSG giving a total plant thermal efficiency of over 80%.

Compressor Drive

The H-25 Gas Turbines are also ideal for Inverter compressor drive applications.

  • Higher response and easy speed control with 50-105% control range
  • Flexible selection of gas compressor sizing
  • Easy overall maintenance

Frame 5 Retrofit

The Hitachi H-25 Gas Turbine was designed on the fundamental of being the perfect retrofit machine for Frame 5 Gas Turbines. Hitachi has manufactured over 280 Frame 5 Gas Turbines since 1964. With new technologies and material improvements Hitachi developed the H-25 Gas Turbine. The H-25 Gas Turbine is based on the same high reliability robust industrial design.

Fuel Flexibility

The H-25 is suitable for most fuel types including:

  • Natural Gas
  • Liquid Natural Gas
  • Liquid Petroleum Gas
  • Refinery Off Gas
  • Distillate Oil
  • Low Calorific Gases
