Our Hybrid camcorders use Hitachi's own hard disk drives to deliver outstanding recording times and unbeatable reliability.As one of  the  leaders in hard drive technology, Hitachi has squeezed all this into a drive just one inch across.Simply, this means you get the capacity you need without the bulk you dont.

Multiformat DVD burner utilises 8cm DVD-RAM/-R/-RW/+RW

Whatever the DVD format, the Hybrid camcorder can probably burn it. The multiformat drive will burn all major 8cm DVD discs.So not only will DVD's play on your home DVD player, they are also compatible with your friends and family's players as well.

One Touch Easy  Dubbing button- No PC or external burner connection  

Required Hitachi Hybrid camcorders make creating the DVD's you want simple. Our one touch easy dubbing feature means you can quickly burn entire movies saved on the Hard disk drive of the camcorder directly to DVD. Just press the button and the camcorder will do the rest. Alternatively you can create your own director's cut by selecting your desired scenes with the thumbnail interface. It's as easy as that with no need for connection to external DVD burners or any PC.

Advanced  HDD Drop Proofing Technology

Accidents happen. That's why Hitachi's hybrid camcorders have their own (ESP) extra sensory protection drop proofing system to protect the HDD. Their zero G sensors automatically detect falls of 10cm or more, suspending the read-write activity and cushioning the hard drive for impact.The result is data loss reduced by up to 50%.

3.3 Megapixel CCD

The CCD has 3.31 megapixels, 2.18 for moving images ( during 4:3 mode) and 3.05 for still images.For both video and photos you are assured of seeing beautiful high - definition images.

10 x optical zoom/ 500x digital zoom

Thanks to the use of an optical zoom process, you enjoy vivid, high quality images even up to 10 x optical zoom. What's more, you can get 500 x high magnification zoom by using the digital zoom.

1 second quick start recording from “sleep” mode

When you are not shooting, pressing the Sleep/Restart button puts the camcorder in standby mode. Press the button again and you can start shooting in only 1 second.

Video to Photo capture mode- create still images from video footage

Why do people always blink in photo's?Fortunately that's now history with our Hybrid camcorders. You can now select any frame from your movies and turn it into a still digital photograph. Simply save the photo to an SD card and then print or share by email.

2.7” Widescreen LCD

The LCD monitor is bright, clear and wide, and can show the entire image while shooting, which is very convenient. Naturally it is compatible with 4:3 images.

True 16:9 widescreen recording

Not only do Hybrid camcorders record in true 16:9 widescreen, their own on-board 2.7" LCD screen is true 16:9 too. It means that what you see is exactly what you'll get, no cropping, no compromise.

During zoom or wide mode shooting, this feature acts and reduces distortion due to hand- shacking.
