As part of a global refocusing of Hitachi’s strategy for consumer electronic products around the world, Hitachi Australia Pty Ltd has withdrawn from the Australian Consumer Electronics market, effective as of the 31st March 2008.
However Hitachi Australia offices will remain, supporting sales of Air Conditioning Systems, Power and Industrial Equipment and Digital Technology Solutions (Display products) for both the corporate and individual markets. Our commitment to our Australian consumers still remains strong as ever.
To ensure our valuable customers can access ongoing support in Australia, we have created a Consumer Products Support Centre, supporting the following products: LCD and plasma televisions, camcorders, GPS, vacuum cleaners, rice cookers, washing machines and refrigeration.
